Lanteglos Lodge

Situated withing the grounds of the Lanteglos Country House Hotel, is our detached Scandinavian-style lodge set on the hillside a short distance from the main facilities. The lodge has three bedrooms – one double and two twin rooms. Beds are made up for your arrival all you need to bring are towels and tea towels.

It’s a paradise for children with acres of safe gardens, play areas, swings and a woodland play area. All the hotel facilities are available to you including swimming & paddling pool, tennis & squash courts, snooker & pool, games room, bar and restaurant. Free WiFi is also available.

The lodge has its own private patio with table and chairs for al fresco dining.

The lodge has:

  • Free Wi-Fi. [limited to sending & receiving emails and browsing the internet]

  • Swimming Pool opens on 25 May and closes 31 August 2019. There is no lifeguard on duty.

Physical recreation

Lanteglos is an ideal jumping-off point for some wonderful beaches – Trebarwith Strand, Port Isaac, Polzeath and Tintgel – and the Camel trail for cycling. The iconic South West Costal Path is also nearby.

Christian Worship, Music and Theology

The beautiful tranquil St Endellion Church, less than 10 miles away, in addition to a regular pattern of well-ordered Anglican worship, hosts two internationally recognised music festivals, and theological lectures and seminars. Meanwhile, the nearby St Julitta’s parish church is only two minutes walk away. (the main Lanteglos House is the former parsonage).

Writing, painting and music composition

Longer lets, particularly from November to March when the multi-fuel stove keeps you warm and snug, provide an ideal peaceful location for writing, painting or composing.
